I have the firewall that came with my windows xp. I want a better one. What is a VERY good firewall i can download and use for free that dosen't slow down my computer?

Personaly I like Kerio very much. It's a little bit difficult to configure for the first time but after I think it's clear. If your computer is rather recent you would not have lower performances.

I use ZoneAlarm firewall since 2 years , and no problem .It's freeware version (only a new registration every 6 months ) .
Avast antivirus is a good complement .
Spyware blaster and Spybot search&destroy are complements .

Don't forget the regular update of those (windows update too) .
